Sharayu Deepak Jadhav is a 9th grader from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. There she studies at Shantiniketan School. Among all the other things, here we ask Sharayu, ‘What would you do if you were the Prime Minister of India?’
Sharayu Jadhav is an enthusiastic and determined girl who likes to play basketball, ride her cycle. Also, she likes all things creative.
Here are some excerpts from an interview Wonderpublish recently conducted with Sharayu Jadhav:
Q. 1: How’re your classes going? Do you miss going to school?
Ans. Classes are going better now. But I do miss going to school as learning new things in the classroom is more fun. Nowadays, we make do with virtual classrooms using Google Meet, Zoom etc.
Q. 2: What do you think of eBooks or eLearning in general?
Ans. EBooks and E-learning, in general, saves time and money. With online learning, learners can access content anywhere and anytime.
Q. 3: What would you do If you were the Prime Minister of India?
Ans. I don’t think it is possible for a person like me to ever become the Prime Minister of India. However, if I were the Prime Minister of India then I will develop the country, in the following ways:
- Implement the rule of law without any discrimination
- Provide equality to all citizens in the matter of education and jobs
- Respect and honour the Ministers, Chief Ministers and civil servants
- Stop hatred and spread goodwill among people
- Maintain honesty and integrity in words and deeds
- Create job opportunities for the youth
- Maintain good relationships with all countries, particularly with neighbours
Q. 4: Tell us about your parents? And how was their support to you during COVID?
Ans. My mother’s name is Vidhya Jadhav. She is a businesswoman. My Father’s name is Deepak Jadhav even he has his own business, they both supported me adequately during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Q. 5: What do you aspire to achieve in life?
Ans. In life, I aspire to:
- Focus on the good things – positive energy begets positive energy
- Find what I love doing – Do more of what makes me happy and love what I do
Q. 6: Which is your favourite subject and why?
Ans. I like all subjects. But my most favourite subject is Geography because I learn more things about India and the whole world. Through geography, we learn about vegetation, different ways of people, climate, nature, agriculture, and economy.
Q. 7: What new things did you learn during the pandemic?
Ans. I learnt many things during the pandemic. I learnt how to study on virtual classes on Google Meet and Zoom. Also, eLearning. And the most important things this period taught me are how to love, be a better listener, and care, respect and help others.
Q. 8: Any message you’d like to give to your friends?
Ans. I would like to say that you should never lose your hope. You should try and not cry. And, never give up on your life, keep trying, one day it will be your success story.
