CoSN’s 2020 annual conference will focus on the swiftly changing tech landscape in education and strategic ways for leaders to keep up.
According to the chief technology officer for Wake County Public Schools in North Carolina, Marlo Gaddis, “Educational technology is on a fast path of continuous change, but leaders’ mindsets don’t always follow. One key shift is that educational technology leaders need to adopt a more strategic focus instead of a break/fix approach.”
Hence, CoSN2020 will aim to stimulate conversation, inspire and perhaps be a bit controversial. CoSN2020 also espouses of deep-dive workshops on esports, becoming a new CTO, and data privacy practices. Content will be strong and diverse throughout CoSN2020 with sessions ranging from artificial intelligence in education, digital equity strategies, cybersecurity risks, universal design for learning, interoperability and much more.
CoSN2020 is going to take place in Washington DC between March 16-18 2020. For more information please visit the official site here.
